Will ezEMRx connect my practice to payers, pharmacies and laboratory services?
ezEMRx is capable of integrating billing information from its system to any 3rd party billing system via accepted industry interface standards. ezEMRx can also integrate with other partners, including pharmacies and clinical laboratories.

Is training included with ezEMRx?
Yes. We will implement the application and provide on-site training. Customer support will be available when you have questions and will also help you use ezEMRx to its full functionality.

Do I have to be technically proficient to use this product?
No. ezEMRx’s trained service representatives will work onsite at your practice to install the solution and train you and your staff to use ezEMRx. We will also be readily available after training to answer any questions your practice may have while using our solution.

Do I have enough time to learn how to use the software?
ezEMRx is designed though its easy to use interfaces. Most doctors can start using the patient encounter charting, documentation, and appointment systems after only a few hours of training. After a couple of weeks of you will gain more familiarity with ezEMRx’s features and increase our efficiency and speed.

Will ezEMRx be compatible with my current system?
Yes. ezEMRx is built on a open architecture platform and allows it to interface with most of the systems which are in the market.

Can I continue to dictate some or all of my notes?
Yes. ezEMRx offers flexible methods of data capture including dictation. You can dictate small sections of your note or the entire note via Dragon software. ezEMRx has a transcription module where a the transcriber can cut and paste the patient note directly into the system.

What kind of hardware purchase would I have to make?
Depending upon your solution and personal preference, the hardware includes Tablet PC’s, Desktop PCs, laptop PCs and wireless network devices.

How do I get my paper documents or data from outside sources into ezEMRx?
Paper documents generated outside the practice can be scanned by your office staff using a tabletop scanner. We also offers a service that converts existing patient demographic, registration, from your existing practice management system into ezEMRx.

Will my data be safe and confidential?
Respect for patient confidentiality is the highest priority for TOI. All of the tools offered by ezEMRx will allow your organization to become compliant, as required by law, with HIPAA regulations and will have top quality network security systems.
